Would this be a good place to buy early fenders? They want $189 each and $15 extra for shipping.
Is there another place or is everyone getting them from Brazil or Mexico nowadays?
If I call them do they have to disclose where they are from and is there a difference?
I know German, Mexico, Brazil are supposedly to go in terms of quality but I'm afraid to buy a used German fender and have it get here with all kinds of flaws-which most would by now!

Short answer: No.

It would be worth your while to source some original fenders and if you're looking for '67 front fenders, I see them listed here all the time.

X2

Source good, used ORIGINAL VW fenders. I haven't seen any repop fenders that are with a darn. Thin metal. Incorrect stampings. Headlight assemblies that don't fit in the fender holes well.
