So not only have I managed to get new doors at the correct year.

The door in the pic colour looks familiar.

Well it's the exact doors for, this shell when it was broken for parts back some 3+ years ago, they are on there way to me this Saturday from reading.


Sooooo.

You know what, I'm gonna do some willy waving here every part as in metal I scrapped I have replaced with 65 year parts. Wings doors shell just need a bonnet, if that's not sticking to good resto ethics I don't know what is

Not a super exciting update, but managed to track down on ebay some OG german 1965/66 wheel trims that i desperately needed to replace to go on the stock wheels. came in at a pretty penny. but another purchase ticked off the large list.

Got these dropped off tonight, the original doors from the replacement shell which was split and sold on year ago.

Came all the way from reading and they are solid.

Picked up the heater channels from DubFreeze today. Gave them a quick test in the bug and slot in perfectly, great quality as well and correct stampings for the year. bought from Custom & Commercial
