I plan to drive across Russia next year, to Vladivostok, from West to East and the to Japan and hopefully across the USA and back to the UK. In other words around the World, hopefully in 90 days. This is in aid of and to raise awareness of Post a Traumatic Stress Syndrome in armed service personnel.

I would like to build up a list of enthusiasts in Russia, just in case I hit major mechanical issues. Local knowledge would be nice to have when in the wilds of Siberia.

In 2012 I drove to Mongolia and back 14,000 mikes and 28 countries, so I know a lot of the problems. I plan to use my 1973 Cabriolet, which is Left hand drive, ex Italian import. Has a very solid body but far from a show car, very poor paint but no rust any where. Going through the mechanics now.

So what is the scene like in Russia. Thank you
