I thought I would share some of the VW's I am encountering while here for the next 6 months. I hope this is the right place to post (please move me if not). Only pics and observations of ACVW will be provided (watercooled is unproven technology in my book). So stayed tuned! _________________ Fat chick owner/operator |

The Ghia was at a glass repair shop, I am assuming the delamination would cause the car to fail inspection...so much for the OG Sigla! _________________ Fat chick owner/operator |

I well used vanagon that some heads were living out of, the whole thing was a bed in the back, this was "by the river" at the edge of town in Italy last year. Saw a sweet 64-65 Bug here in Germany yesterday but was unable to snap a pic.

This was a photo in the back of a restaurant in Vilshoven, its a street scene from the town. The owner saw me taking a pic and ask me to guess what year it was from, I looked and said 55..nailed it!! They had internet, which is becoming scarce with the rise of data sticks. More later _________________ Fat chick owner/operator |

Well I went back to Aldersbach for what I thought would be a beer fest, but it turned out to be an International music festival. It was very well attended, but no real beer, just weak Pilsner out of the bottle. Got to listen to Peruvian flute music and on the way out...this! _________________ Fat chick owner/operator |

It looks to be a 74 SB and a very pro conversion. I was blown away to see this since I was under the impression that such conversions were outlaw in Germany, maybe it was a dealer conversion or something. I also have a 74 SB rat truck with a model T bed, so it was just too cool... _________________ Fat chick owner/operator |
