I tried the link, but it doesn't seem to work, at least not at the computer I'm using right now anyway.
Could you double-check and send it again?
I'd like to print the flyer to paper and show it to my boss so he might feel more likely to give me November 7th and 8th off.
If I simply refer my boss to this thread he'll undoubtedly ask me what the heck I was doing surfing the net during business hours, and then he'll punish me for that probably by telling me to stay in town and work.
Thanks for what you can do!

The flyer was perfect. Not only did my boss give me that Friday off, but I got Thursday off too. Thanks! See you there!

I've never been to this event. Are tents allowed for overnighters? If yes, are huge family-sized tents allowed? And can the tents become pitched next to where the bus is parked? Are there permanent charcoal pits near where the buses are parked at? Are there picnic tables close by? How close to the buses are the toilets? And how close to the buses are those fantastic hot showers that Pat Kelly told me are there? _________________ Love is blind; Friendship closes its eyes.

The campsite at the fairgrounds is a perfect place to camp. Those of us that have been going for years always get the same spot each year. plenty of room. Restrooms at the campsite and showers a short walk away. The Yuma gang even has security to watch the campsite Sat during the show. One of our top three camp outs each year. The Friday chicken dinner is to die for. |

Hi, Mr. Howard. I appreciate your help. But now I'm confused.
The flyer says this event is being held at "Gateway Park". Is "Gateway Park" another name for "The Fairgrounds"? Or are these two different places? _________________ Love is blind; Friendship closes its eyes.

Hello desertbus, the November 8th Saturday show is at Gate Way Park 8:00am-2:00pm. The campout is on Friday November 7th-9th at the Yuma Co Fairgrounds (entrance is off pacific ave across from the Walmart). Two event locations, park being the Saturday show'n shine, swap, food, raffle and the fairgrounds hosting the campout weekend.. A couple miles from each other! _________________ 1956 L31

Hi folks, and John....
We're flying over from the UK on the Thursday and are planning on coming down to Yuma on the Friday. Not sure yet if we're staying in a local motel or if I can persuade Mr Howard to loan us a tent and sleeping bag....
Anyway, what time does the chicken dinner start and what time can we get in from?
Thanks in advance, Anton _________________ 55 Vert, 56 Ghia, 56 Bug, 57 Ghia, 58 Ghia.

Attention all Cornholers: LBB will be awarding 2 free entries to BBBXIX
to the winning Cornhole team at the Sat. night tournament. VTO, ABC, Busties, who's up for it? Not a Cornholer, win a free entry and an event shirt from last year at the Sat. raffle. Help support the Yumans, they give back to Yuma! See you there. |
