Dual 28 pict on a 40hp

I have a Vanguard dual carb kit that uses two 28 pict carbs. The 40hp in my 63 beetle is stock. I plan to run a 019 distributor. I was looking for baseline jetting. Elevation is about 5000ft. Thanks

Hey BDub475, my 56 Beetle project has a 40hp engine with dual 28PICTs. Has a very ugly flexible wire linkage, and I have no idea who put it together. This is a new project for me, so I haven't had a chance to really look at the motor...which hasn't run in many, many years. When I get a chance to look closer at the carbs, I'll check the jetting for you. I'm told this car has in ABQ for the last 30 years or more.
