I own a 63 beetle and recently purchased a used 1300cc engine that has been converted to 12v with a 12volt fly wheel and clutch kit.
I was wondering if some one could guide me to buy the right throw bearing as i believe my old one won't work with this pressure plate.
I know i need a new sarter and i'm just going to get a 12 v starter and i was wondering if any one new of a company that sells a 12v swap kit minus the alternator. I need the bulbs and relays.
thanks you so much for your time

That doesn't look like a 12v (200mm) clutch. Could be one of those Bus flywheels. "6v center (180mm) with a 12v ring". Early style T.O. bearings work with that center ring. _________________ Daily driver: '69 Baja owned 44 yrs - Plan B: '81 Rabbit Diesel LS Deluxe - Plan C: '72 Ghia

get a auto stick starter then you don't have to mess with the stater bushing _________________ Rick
