Who is making the best repair panels these days? And does any body make US spec rear bumper repair sections for super beetles?

Cormac - I trust these guys to keep abreast of quality products. They source from a number of other parties. I've bought several repair pieces from them and they're pretty good quality. You can change the site to English in the upper right of their site.

I posted information on repair panels here.

http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=586891

Many shops carry this Klokkerholm repair panel, and I am not aware of any other manufacturers. It fits 1971-73 Super Beetles and 1966-73 U.S. spec standard Beetles.

You can also get a Brazilian bumper mount.

Well, I gusss the best would be genuine VW...

VW Heritage is agant for VW Classic Parts in the UK, although it's a bit pot-luck what parts are available. Worth a try though.
