Door top stamp (vin)

Hi.
I have read about the door top vin or vin's last three digits stamp on barndoors.
I searched the forums and gallery and I couldn't find any photo.
Can you post one to see where is it stamped.

Have in mind that the stamp could be the last 3 digits of the chassis number OR the body number, depending BD year.

Both doors from my 54 Kombi are barndoor doors, obviously one had been replaced by an older one with stamp

Found same number on upper hinge

Do these numbers typically match the numbers stamped by the negative battery mounting threaded hole?
