I have a 51 standard beetle I've been working on for quite a few years. Do to some arthritis in my hand I'm thinking I may sell it sometime. I've been trying to figure out what it may be worth and I know it's relative but you don't see many for sale and when you do, they are usually asking stupid prices for them. Is there any way of finding what they have actually sold for?

Without pictures it is impossible to even begin to give you a price.

Take lots of pictures, run an ad in The Samba classifieds with a detailed description, ask a stupid price and settle for the stupidest offer.

| Who knows. I guess when I get to that point I'll list it as best as possible and go from there. Of course I may think I want to sell it more than I do want to sell it if that makes any sense. Only the second one I owned and they have not been easy to come by |

That makes perfect sense. I have a whole garage full of cars I think I want to sell more than I do want to sell.
