I'm very impressed that VW appears to have found a way to attach surfboards to roof racks without using any straps or fasteners whatsoever.
Must have taken many hours in the wind tunnel to come up with that concept - are they held on by air pressure?

| Yeah my reply to my friend who sent me the link was I've seen this headline many times before about the Microbus coming. Although this particular one says "2015 Microbus". I told him I'm on thesamba every night and have read no mention of this "news" here? So we'll see how it plays out... |

Question, why would VW reinvent the wheel when they are already making the California van with a pop top.....
Wake up VW Norte Merica, bring this in with a 2.0L TDI and a 6 speed.. You'll sell out in hours...

VWoA has not clue one about what the US market wants, they would rather sell an appliance than a car "we" want. But, there are also not enough of "us" to buy the overpriced good cars they do sell in the US(ie; Golf R).
Even if they did bring some, I doubt I'd buy a new car any time soon, of any make, they are way too much hassle to mod and older cars have much more appeal to me. |

I honestly dislike the front nose of the bus. But, it still looks great!

that will be one crazy microbus! is it going to compete with the venom gt? i feel like aerodynamics may be an issue.
or is that what the previously pointed out unfastened surf board is for? |
