For as active as the samba is, not a lot of people really post much. It seems like nobody is watching your updates but a ton of people are. I dig your bus. Sorry about your arm, I hope it heals well and quickly. I'm amazed you got the gas tank in and out with the engine in using one arm, that is impressive! I have trouble with the engine out and a helper with me. |
Thank YOU brotha!!! It really means ALOT to ME !!!! _________________ ya it's rusty...but it's MINE!!!!! |

ok DUDES !! update... I am still stripping the shit paint of my buddy ! almost FINISHED ! I did order some AWESOMENESS THO!! like a STOCK muffler from WW with all the pieces it came out 200.00 bucks! not bad that's all the hardware , bolts , ext... should sound sweet! I must tell you that working on this bus has/is ben the best experience in my life! it's almost religious it calms me down so much that there is nothing I would rather do I love love LOVE doing everything STOCK everything fits so well! no problems with fitment at all! and plus for all people who don't know my bus is 6 volt and all things WORK as they should . I find nothing bad or underpowered whith 6volt AS LONG ASS YOU HAVE GOOD GROUND !!! keeping it 6volt TO ME was part of the old time over all feel I want every trip I take to be like I stepped back in 1964 ..lol that's why I am VERRRRY CAREFUL about what I replace or re-do making sure I don't take away any of IT'S CHARM not saying if there is a BIG RUST HOLE that I don't fix it! SURE I could spend $$$ to make it "like new" new paint, new this and that..but haven't you guys ever ben to a VW show and see a "like new bus " and passed it up to go look at the ORIGINAL banged up or roughed up bus? I KNOW I DO EVERY TIME well dudes when all my stuff's comes to my door I will take some pic's ...later _________________ ya it's rusty...but it's MINE!!!!! |

You will have to stitch where the back bottom rod goes and put in rods and wire.

Looking good, love your enthusiasm. You must be looking forward to getting it rolling. As others have said there are plenty of lurkers here following your progress... |

The name reminded me of this movie from the 1980's.
What for it at the end.
