Very tight with a 1/2" breaker bar. You will probably need a cheater pipe for the 1/2" breaker bar to get them off.

Why wouldn't you use the factory lug nut torque number for your stock wheel/lug nuts?

because they are Sprint stars? I read somewhere that every kind of rim and nut set vary and they should be to manufacturers spec. I can't find anything on how tight the lug nuts should be on ssp sprint stars

What 911pickup is getting at is they are steel wheels (like the factory wheels) and use factory style lug nuts, so tight like factory will do it. I ran 4 bolt Sprint Stars on my street car for 6? years and it worked.

Oh right. The nuts that came with the wheels are longer than the stock ones though.

Longer lug bolts/nuts don't make any difference in torque needed.

EMPI Sprint Stars are Steel Wheels and use stock bolts and tighten to stock torque.
SSP Sprint Stars are the Aluminum Repop's and I contacted aircooled.net, who sells them and they recommend between 85lbs & 103lbs. Do not go higher or you will over tighten and stretch bolt or ruin taper.
