There many sellers on eBay that have Bosch wires with the angle boots for Type 3 available. Contact them to specify. |

They were OEM for fuel injected engines, which had a taller distributor due to the trigger points in the bottom. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

Odd because I ordered 09004 and got angled boots. Also shows up in Google as the same.
09003 shows up as the straight boot. |

It's 09004. Sell 'em all the time. _________________ 1963 Notchback - Ruby Red

Damn Beetle owners...
You can also order Beru 90 degree ends separately, but they are spendy by Type 3 owner standards:

Nah, you guys are just annoying pikers compared to us Benzies. At least we own cars worth getting pissy about. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

You may not get what you pay for, but you'll always pay for what you get. Besides, even five boots is cheaper than one of your LED bulbs, so what are you bellyaching about? _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

Perceived value is very different...don't make me school you with marketing terms.
Truth be told, there's a lot of stuff that people buy for these cars that really makes me wonder...$9 boots are just the beginning. |
