Hello. First "restore" effort; 69 Fastback, automatic, with a/c. How can you tell if the a/c was original. I don't want to keep it as it is not currently functional unless it was original to the car. |

depends on what you mean original. Factory installed, no. Dealer installed, probably. Post some pics. You arent going to find any documentation from the factory though, maybe if you had a dealer window sticker or reciept, but then you'd already know |

All A/C units were authorized accessory/ dealer install. same with radios, Playtape systems, etc.
