Where to use seam sealer on a type 1 when stripping and repainting. I know around the wheel wells on the inside of the car. Anywhere else? Should I do something in the rain gutter? |

Since no one responded, I'll take a stab at it.
I think up front where the rocker panels meet the door jambs there is some. In the back behind the seat in The corners and anywhere else there are two "seams" welded together. It keeps the moisture from creeping Inbetween them. |

Sorry to threadjack...but thought this could fit in here.
Im looking at coating the floor's of my bus I was going to use a rubberized coating such as 3M undercoating, but I also saw some rubberized seam sealer.
Is this a product that could be applied to the entire floorboards?
Right now they are in good shape with no rust, as the original owner put down some sort of rubberized or flexible black coating I just wanted to put on a fresh coat of something. _________________ 72' Sunroof Bus - Kansas Beige
