I just wanted to add...Ive been looking for a Ghia convertible semi-seriously, but Ive realized I have a 1964 KG coupe in my cottage that has been patiently waiting for 20 years to be fixed.

This color combination is so pretty it has inspired me to do that project first...with my daughter, named Caitlin!

too funny.....

Does anyone else think this a troll thread or is it just me?

I'm glad to see younger people (girls no less) taking an interest...

But this one seems to be little wiser than her years for 14. Just saying.

Ehhh why would someone do that?

She has pics up and of herself and family. A facebook page and a story to match the pics. It would be quite difficult To get these pics and create a story to go with them.

Maybe I'm wrong, maybe it's photoshopped Cool

I have no idea why some people do the things they do. Have you ever seen catfish? Lol.

In any event I was doubting the photos. She looks a little older than 14 and her vocabulary and way of speaking seems off. At least I didnt write or talk like that at 14. Maybe I was just wasn't that smart though Wink

Anyway I'm sure it's just me. Just a vibe I got.

Lol me either, that's a pretty valid point. maybe it's all th additives in the water Wink not the first case of 14 year old with a kg, with the Internet around I imagine it's not hard to at least appear intelligent even if you aren't.

On another note I have seen catfish( due to my girlfriend ) and I ended up watching it, and enjoying it lol.

WOW, Im so impressed.
The 17 yr old young lad lives next door wants to drive the street rail I've been working on for about a year, couldn't tell the difference between a 13mm wrench and a drive axle.
Keep up the good work!
In the meantime I will do my best with my helper Crying or Very sad

ok, well I really have not much to say about all of this above. I guess Ill just have to prove it when I drive my car and meet all of you at shows, till then keep watching its about to get fun. my parts car will be here in less than 2 weeks and ill start (with my dads help) cutting and welding new panels into my car. I did pick a color though.....Audi D5W Malibu Blue Metallic!! my dad has a friend that owns a local bodyshop and he will be mixing some paint today and ill spray it on the car over the weekend, Ive never sprayed base coat then clear coat so this should be fun! And as for the non believers I will make sure I have plenty of pictures taken of me doing my work.

Sorry I have to go, I am at school and I can only text between periods. Thanks for watching!!

My daughter is 14. She's a lot smarter than most people, and has been mistaken for my date more than once. Um. Yuck.

She has no interest in the Ghia though (other than to say it looks nice). She is good at math, music and likes to write books.

There is no way I'd let her post her face on the webs though.

I'm sure most if us can give this thread the respect it deserves.

Awesome project! Good luck with your build. Bodywork can be very tedious on Ghias.... I just got done doing a front clip swap on my 59 the hard way and I think I'm going to give my welder and body tools a nice long rest for awhile.
Can't wait to see some progress!

I didn't mean any disresect. As I stated, was just a vibe I got. As if it was someone other than her writing the posts or prentending to be a girl.

I could care less either way. Good luck on the car. It should be great when all done.

I didnt take it in any bad way at all. If anything it was a compliment. I hope you keeping watching my build.
