Nice and solid, good looking car. Watch it in Mexico, VW's are a hot item there. A lot of them get stolen quick.

Did you import the car to Mexico? How much hassle was the paperwork?

You need in fact to hire a "Customs Agent", they make all the paperwork for you and they charge you a fee for their services.

But basically i had a friend purcashed the car, drove it to tijuana where the customs guy received it, he made all paperwork , them put it on a truck to me and 2 weeks i got it in my city.

Regards,

I'm not a fan of the H4's. The lens profile seems too flat to me. However, Samba member Philermonic installed a set. Apparently used on motorcycles. They have a nice rounded profile.

Some are too flat for my taste. like this:

I haven’t noticed that they are that flat, totally agree with you, the ones on the blue karmann look awesome!.

I will keep my fingers crossed that the ones I got look good, if not, I will definitely will try and get those rounded ones.

Thanks for the post.

Agree 100%, just doesnt look right on an aircooled VW.
The rounded lens option seems like a win-win Smile
