locking gas cap

Hi -

My 84 Jetta has this gas cap:

I wanted a locking cap so I got this:

but it doesn't fit. Can anyone steer me to the right part, part number?

Does it just slip off when you twist it to seal? Mine did that, I had to "tweak" the inner lip of the filler neck to allow it to hold.

yeah, don't really want to mung up the filler neck. I'd much rather find the correct cap. but thanks for the suggestion all the same.

I didn't have to move mine much, and it only stayed on one way. 180* out and it would pop right off.
