|
|
Hi,
I am currently helping Winnie update some registry information and am in search of all the Manxter DualSport Owners out there.
So if you happen to have a Manxter DualSports can you please contact me at [email protected]. A picture and some info would be greatly appreciated.
In particular if you are not the original owner or your Buggy was built by one of the shops such as Mendeolla Motorsports.
Some of the numbers we need to confirm:
009
011
013
018
019
022
026
There will also be a Manxter DualSport Buggy Run on 2 Nov 14, if your interested then let me know and I will pass on the details.
Thanks for your help. |

I am interested in the November run, let me know more about it.
I am also interested if you found out any information on new side curtain doors that don't blow out on the top edge allowing snow and rain to come inside the buggy. It only been since February that I been waiting for news. _________________ Joseph

Hi Joe, does that mean you didn't get the news letter from the Manxter DualSports Mailing List ?
I will resend it to you now.
In regards to side curtains they are still on the board but there has been no movement on them since we last spoke as other things have been taking up the time. |

Hi,
We are after DualSports 009 which I believe was built by Mendeolla.
Is this the Manxter 009 you are talking about ?
Once I have DualSport Manxters Squared away I will be doing Manxters. They will take a lot more effort so I figured I would start off small and go from there. |

Have you tried contacting Mendeola? They might not want to give you the information but they might be willing to forward your information on to the owners. _________________ Manxter #39 on a 1971 Pan

I sent an email to the last address I had on Kevin but have heard nothing back, will chase it up. A lot of them have changed hands from what people have told me.
I will ask around some more on the DualSport Run on 2 Nov and see if anyone their can help me out. Who knows one might show up
I have found some of them just need to get numbers so I can match them up. |

This is Kevin From the Former Mendeola Signature Motors. My new company is called CoolRydes Customs and you can contact me through my website www.MendeolaSuspension.com We still custom build Meyers products on a special order basis including the Dual Sports.
Now about the Dual Sports in question.
The Green bodied car was our shop car and was taken apart. The body became a fluff car we built for AT&T with an orange cage on a regular type one chassis with roof rack.
Body number was DS-12-07 M
We also built Denice Urkov's Gun metal colored DS - 26 - 10
Maurice Liang's Green body Orange caged
Ron Landaker's Green body black caged possibly DS-19-06
Mike Register Custom Cream body black caged I'll look through photos
We also built 2 yellow Dual sports and I think at least 1-2 more. I have to go through pictures and files to know for sure. We built a lot of Meyers Manx buggies.
BTW: The black Dual Sport pictured above was a photoshop job for a questomer _________________ Kevin "Coolrydes" Zagar

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for the response, the address I used was [email protected] which from what you have posted is no longer in use. I will contact you through the new website as I would love to get some more info on a few of them for the registry.
Cheers, |
