Honestly, I really kinda dig it. I agree that taking a rare car, let alone a VW, off road could constitute a travesty............ but it could be worse. It didn't get turned into a Baja. _________________ Organized people are just too lazy to look for stuff

According to their site it is made of at least 8 cars!

this is a "mixed" zwitter. in fact car was so bad looking that decision was taken to make a "quick toy". this 12/1952 zwitter was saved with rests from a 48 ( split window) roof and soft sun roof from a 56, front it the original from 52 quarter panel are from 54/57 and doors are 55, dash is half 52/54.. what a puzzle. That's why this car is not back in original.. this car as been done in only 3 month since car was parted out. Frame is a 71 1200 standard, with early Thing gear box and reducers as is front beam.

All the more reason to take it wherever & enjoy it IMO. I've always had a thing for Kommandeurwagens anyway. _________________ Organized people are just too lazy to look for stuff
