Floor pan: is this area welded?

Okay, so I'm working on the floor pan to put in a new body-to-pan seal. Come to find out that the previous owner never put one in. Just put caulk in various places. - That explains the leaks.

Anyway, found that the rear of the pan was never welded to the tunnel up near the opening to the shift rod connector. That I took care of.

My question (see pic) is if the pan is also welded underneath to the point on the torsion bar assembly?

YES. The torsion housing has a pad and there is a couple tack welds on it to the bottom of that X-member.
