I have a notch back with disc brakes all around I didn't install the brakes it has the single reservoir master cylinder so the pedal is real hard to press but was livable since am a big guy but built a new engine and need to stop better now so I want to convert it to dual master cylinder just curious if there should be any problems doing that and wonder about a equaliser for pressure to rear or front brakes any suggestions or anyone with experience doing this I don't see much hassle doing it

Should not be an issue. As GP says you can look in the bug section, I am sure it has been done here as well. You will probably need a new push rod as well as reservoir & master cylinder. The equalizer will be needed after you do the other bits. Post some pictures so we can see what you are up to.
