This part number information appears to be stenciled on. Is there anyone that makes a stencil or label for a '66 air cleaner?

a good print shop that makes label's might be able to scan your original and make label copies. Ideally you would want them to make a silk screen master, so you can have the paint screened on, rather than a label.

I don't have the original. The picture I borrowed and is a bit out of focus.

Going back to your prior post on Air Cleaners (it might be best to keep it all under one topic, and the Mods usually prefer it that way too)...

I have two air cleaners that have the same 113 129 613 E part numbers. The only differences is that one is made by MANN and the other is made by KNECHT. In my experience with part numbers in general, if a part is made by different manufacturers there usually is a difference in the part numbers or revision.

Which one is correct for a '66 Sedan? I'm guessing it could have either.

UPDATE: I think I found part of the answer but it doesn't explain why I have two dome style tops that have the same part number and "E" revision. Both lower parts are the same as well. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=497250

...from what I know about VW part numbers, they only change the suffix if there is a difference in design or function. Tail lights and lens, turn signal switches, ignition switches, door handles etc all have at least two manufacturers/vendors, but if the part has the same exact application, the part number remains the same...

..when there is an update or revision, then they change the suffix up one alphabetic digit.

Also, keep in mind that the 1300 was sold in European '67's with the same exact air cleaner, so as far as the rest of the World it's not a one-year-only thing Wink

As for your current question, my '66 has it's original '66 Knecht, which doesn't have that sticker or imprint you ask about. Perhaps it's a Mann thing, or that one is a replacement so it's marked bolder???
Anyway, the lettering on my example with original paint and finish (which looks like 90% of the US ones I've encountered) actually looks more like a tampo printing of red lettering over the black base coat rather than a sticker per say...

Is the sticker for a '67 air cleaner the same for '66?
