how to remove this element in the middle ? I want take it off and make new glass for my clock and put this element into new glass.

It is press fitted and never meant to come off. I removed mine with needle point vice grips and a pile of gumption. The spring will want to fly so take precautions.

Before you remove it make sure your glass / plexiglass shop can make you a substitute. It takes skill to drill a hole through glass that thin -- my local glass shop couldn't do but it. (but I've been doubting their skills as of late)

Yeah, they aren't made to come off that's for sure. I used a micro gear puller and broke the puller...lol. I ended up using 3M plastic polish and a dremel and cleaning it up.

Maybe try polishing it first? I used some polishing compound and it cleaned/cleared up nicely!

Definitely try polishing first.

It can be removed, but you need to make some tools to punch out the retaining pin.

That is plastic, I want change front glass on speedometer, fuel gauge, and clock - but don't want break it. I was looked on it, punch few times in pin but not sure that it is good way.
