Just a celebratory post, my 78 Bus is done! It's been at the shop for a couple months now. Rear cross member was replaced, digging into the rust/rocker issues to prep and plan for Spring, general inspection stuff.. an unexpected front beam (thanks Bus Boys!!)

One thing leads to another but it's finally done and comes home tomorrow after I finish up one job. I finally can get to work on the pre-Winter stuff I want to do - fixing the heat, etc.

Funny how one thing always leads to another on older vehicles, no matter what they are.

Who did the work? I used Gordy back in the day when I was still living in New Hampshire. Unfortunately he recently passed. Congratulations on getting your bus back. Can't wait to see the pictures.

A buddy of mine is a mechanic with a pretty strong welding background, lives locally. Who is Gordy and where is he from?

Thanks for the correction. I used to be a nice guy, then I ruined it by exposing myself to the public.
