Need advice

Hello

I just bought a 1950 split, and i'm not a big fan of the original gearbox
so i'm putting it aside, and want to replace it with a modern syncronized
one. Can anyone give me a tip of what box to get, and what parts i need to get it fitted without any cutting and welding (this car is to old to start cutting and chopping) My plan was a 1300s box + 1500 engine, but feel free to enlighten
me...

(and yes i did a search, but could not find any thread about this topic)

it's been said before:
1953-1960 splitcase transmission, complete from drum to drum , with the mounting cradle, just replace the nosecone for a split bus pre 1959, together with rubber donut and horse shoe retainer.
i am sure the handbrake cables work well and nothing needs cut or messed with.
