Could be a steering wheel from a standard beetle, but couldnt get the number of splines right. Not VW? _________________ I got a historic car, every scratch got a history...

This is not a KdF or Bettle wheel, maybe it is 1950s tractor. Not worth much at all. |

...nice find. Unless, I'm not seeing something, looks like a VW standard steering wheel with coarse splines...that is a life-long keeper. I bought one in 1984 for the high price of fifty bucks with horn button. Then, I bought an early oval era steering column with coarse splines and have installed it on many different bugs and remove it, in favor of the boring stock wheel, whenever I sell.
Right now, I have it in a 1960 Euro.
You're a lucky guy...that's a keeper. I see them for sale these days ranging from $250 to $500...a far cry from a fifty dollar investment.

The steering wheel that is shown in the original posting may have been manufactured by petri, but the hub is completely wrong for a VW application _________________ 1947 Typ 11a
