How does this spark plug look to you guys?

It is from a late model Sube motor and Subaru says to change these platinum plugs every 30,000 miles. But it looks like it is fine to me, and no need to change it ??

How does that compare to a similar new plug?

I do not use platinum plugs but as I recall some have a distinct tip that projects beyond that cone and some have a small disc of platinum on the ground electrode. Some even have what looks like a wire sticking out of a cone on the center electrode.

In addition to comparing you might consider what the gap is now vs what it was when installed.

Plugs (at least the ones I use) are pretty cheap when you consider the job they do and you're doing the same labor as a full replacement just to look at them.

normal running engine the plug would be a bit gray and dry

Yours look a bit carboned? maybe a bit rich?

Dry gray dusty has always been the normal in my book

Looks worn.

Any Platinum plug I've encountered doesn't have that rounded dome tip. They are very much squared off.

Even used I haven't seen them domed like that.
I've seen the ground electrode badly burned yet the platinum tip was still squared off.

You've got them out, I'd install new ones.
