Is that a sales hatch on the far side or a may be a donor cut like the missing vent? _________________ Austrian Kohlruss Deluxe

Kermie, can you translate? I got the part of "Avoir" means "Have" but there seems to be missing letters for "Sere". _________________ American Red Cross Safe And Well:

Have you considered simply starting with a nicer bus? I don't know what your skills are, but the race is easier if you can see the finish line. If you are not a runner, don't start off doing a marathon. |

As you might know Belgium has a Dutch speaking and French speaking part. This is French, and my French is a bit rusty
Looking at the tekst and the other side of the bus I believe the first word is "Lavoir" which means washing. Second word is incomplete, could be anything. |

Nice Charlie48ida, I'll share this with our French teacher she really enjoyed the vocab earlier. I sent her a Logo Barndoor in German and I'm waiting for the translation.

Could it have been used for as a Laundry vehicle? Wash n Dry? There are lots of laundry logo-ed buses in the states...
Good luck with it...looks like another easy build |

Exactly my thoughts and delivered them clean
My next bus will be a logo bus preferably a Barndoor. Hunting in Germany (my native land) this summer after some leads from some of my German friends and family who live there.

The "séré..." part is probably "sérésien" which means "from Seraing"
Seraing is a town very close to aywaille. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seraing
The town used to have lots of mining industries so it had Lavoirs (cleaning plants) for minerals as well as Lavoirs (laundries) for worker's clothes. |

Quite interesting history ... if you look closely you´ll see that the van once received a new rear window frame!
The crispy rust eating away the non-original overlap seam in this area is clearly visible. For me this says: A very early van, originally delivered without rear window and later customized with a rear window from maybe a scrap vehicle.
And: This car once suffered from an engine fire, damaging the paintwork below the beltline. After this accident the car was resprayed. But due to the elements taking their toll we now can see the fire marks on the glowed out sheet steel areas above the left backlight.
The side hatch supposingly was for quick storage of dirty clothes ... |
