I agree. They are awesomely fast getting parts out.
Van Cafe gets my business even if they are a little higher priced because of their fast shipping and excellent customer service.
Hats off to you all at Van Cafe!!! _________________ 1987 Syncro Westfalia Hightop - NAHT

Ive been ordering bits from Gw, Bus Depot. RMW and VanCafe for a bus I havent even taken delivery of yet. Was so excited to get parts and pieces during the "wait to fly out to get it " time. Orders placed on the same day and all have arived within a day except for the Gw order. I called today to get a tracking number as I thought there may be an issue. The scan shows the order left the supplier a week after placing it. No mention of back ordered parts. Im all about the cookie. |

For about a week or so after the GW Thanksgiving 4 day sale the banner on the top of their site said something like "Due to a higher than normal volume of sales, shipping will be delayed a few days." This is very typical after they offer 10-15% off. Normally, I have items within 1-2 days max of placing my order with them. Same with VC. Both are great vendors and both are great assets to our hobby. _________________ 1990 Multivan - "Ohana"

I've had the same awesome experience. I have a favorite guy there but am hesitant to say for fear you guys will overload him and slow down my fast orders. One comment I have not heard yet is to say I have sometimes placed an order online for a certain shipping speed and had my shipping costs reduced because they found a cheaper method at the same speed. That means they used THEIR talent (which is worth money) and gave the money that talent produced back to me. Peter, please don't read this and change the system. Heh......

Another happy customer of VanCafe. I live in central California and they had the parts to my door the next day. Some of the fastest shipping I have seen, two thumbs up guys. Thanks.
And thanks for trying to help a vanagon nubie with all his stupid questions.
I will have more to come. |

Peter at Van cafe is my go to guy. I have been doing business with them since they called themselves the volks cafe. His prices are competitive, shipping cost is always real close to actual shipping cost and if you are placing a decent order he will match prices on the odd bit someone may sell cheaper. |

Its STILL called Volks Cafe in my browser! And yeah, their shipping is phenomenal (next day to Blaine, Washington!) and Peter is the very model of customer service. _________________ '84 Vanagon GL 1.9 WBX
