My AC compressor is making a god awful noise right now. I need to drive it 65 miles home in the morning & I don't want to completly destroy it or throw the belt.

Is there a smaller belt I can get for it, or even some type of bypass pulley?

Thanks

Disconnect the power to the clutch(or pull fuse). That will not allow the compressor to turn. If the noise is from the clut ch, I don't know if you can do what you want.

Thanks, but I tried that. It makes a different & louder sound when I do that.

I don't think there is a smaller belt offered. As far as I know all that were sold in the us all had a/c and I have not seen one come through the dealer with the a/c off.
