Digging through albums and such looking for information on an old 50's Vert that my dad owned, I came across this book that he had given me when I was a child.

It's called "think small", and it's a cartoon book put out by Volkswagen that my dad got from the dealership back in the day. It's (c) 1967, so I'm throwing this up in this forum...

Pretty fun to look through it again, lots of great VW comics.

Wondering if anyone has seen this before.

I saw it in the 1970s.

I saw it in the 1980s.

I saw it in the 1990s.

I saw it in the 2000s.

I have a copy.

Basically, when it comes to old VWs, any queries with wording "has anyone" and similar: yes, someone has tried it already !!! yes, someone has done it already !!!

I just bought one of ebay for $3. I put it in my glove box and actually a few people have read it while I was driving.

Yeah, that book is or should be in just about every one's collection at this point. I've got probably 5 or 6 myself.

I think they were given away with new VWs in 1967.

They are so common I wonder if at least some dealerships gave them away like brochures.

They may have given them out with a free test drive.

Or your theory may be correct.

I have two laying around somewhere in my attic. Bought one at a show back in 98 and was given the other by a co-worker around the same time.

I saw two for sale at an antique mall about ten years ago but didn't have any money at the time.

So I just ordered one when I saw this topic. Wish I had the '67 VW that this book came with instead.
