My Vanagon uses a 12v VR6 from a 98 Jetta w/OBDII. I'd like to use the crank sensor to send a signal to the computer to allow it to "see" the speed. Has anyone successfully attempted this? What have been your experiences?

Thanks,

KB

Are you needing a VSS?

People usually use a wheel speed sensor to sense speed. What did VW use from factory?

Option here? >> http://www.smallcar.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=29880
