86 Diesel Jetta manual tranny into a 91 Jetta with auto?

Need to know if an 86 diesel Jetta trans is a direct swap int a 91 gas jetta with an automatic? Found an 86 that is complete minus engine and would like to swap the 5 speed into my 91.

Should bolt right in. With the needed addition of the clutch pedal and shift linkage. And maybe different axles, not sure on that.

Thanks, I'm goin to get the car this morning. From the research I've been able to do, I think the only issue will be the throttle cable. And maybe the flywheel.
