That is interesting. I would like to see a side view. It looks like it could be Lotus ish in shape. |

Sadly, yet fortunately, I've never considered "this is the only one" as a selling point....a very long and lonely road to travel on such a build.... |

It's only a selling point if you're the seller and want more than it's worth. _________________ "The new Volkswagen 1303. We've made so many improvements, they're beginning to show." |

Yeah, kind of looks like a splash off the James Bond (Roger Moore) Lotus, the one that ended up converting into a mini-sub. I agree, one-off bodies are slightly terrifying. Deep wallet, lots of spare time.... |

.. and also, nobody to know if you've built it "wrong".
As a '67 Beetle owner, I have to admit, that does sound appealing. _________________ "The new Volkswagen 1303. We've made so many improvements, they're beginning to show." |

Asking $1500, but has $1200 in the title. Must have lowered the price? I'd like to see the side view, just for curiosity. Wonder what the windshield and gull wing doors look like also.

Hmmmmm...... So much for his "only one in existence today" comment....

Sometimes, even a mother admits her child is unfortunate looking.
IMHO it SHOULD be the only one in existance. Those side windows are hideous. _________________ 71 LWB Manx style dunebuggy

Mama always told me that if I could not say something nice, not to speak at all.
So, those are really nicely constructed brick archways in the picture. _________________ Bad News Racing 2018 NORRA 1000 3rd in Class

Actually lines are kinda cool IF it were in a SF movie or was electric power.... Sort of futuristic way before its time....

Looks like they took an actual "splash" off a real Esprit and then just kind of lived with where it mated up on the VW chassis. If you cut the body height down some, lowered the chassis, did drop floopans with some external side ground effects, recurved the rear wheel arches, went to newer wheels with lower profile tires, made new doors with less window/ more fiberglas, you would have.......... spent buckets of money and should have bought a real Lotus Esprit...... |
