Is this possible?
I'm told it will if I run Type1 rear drums/plates with a shim or 2 behind the plates that it will fit fine?
I'm trying to avoid converting to a short axle trans unless I really have to.

it's all about offset. you can run a 205... i've done it with 5 different wheels. I have no idea what offset you can get in them, but a 205 in and of itself can be used.
