74 super vert - 4 wheel disc - tapered front springs (topline sport springs) so about an inch and a half lower in the front to sit level.
I removed some unusable wheels (rusted inside) so I ordered new wheels coming in Friday. I need to get the tires so here's the question.
I ordered some empi 8 spokes, 15x 5.5 with an ET30.
Can I fit 195 -65s without rubbing? Maybe 205-65 on the rear or all 4?

I did read a lot of threads searching this but just ended up more confused with the differing opinions. Maybe someone running a similar setup cann chime in. I did find out the 8 spokes come in et16 - et25 - et30 but 30 was the deepest I could find.

I've got 185/65-15 all around on my stock wheels on my 70'. They rub a little when cranked all the way to the right, but not horribly. It will likely be my next tire size too.

With a 30 ET and tapered springs? I can run 185 with a 44et so I assumed 30 ET is bringing it out another 14 and should offer more clearance for the 195. Are you talking about inside or fender? I read someone with a 25 et was running 205 x 60 with max struts but they were sticking out of the fender some from the photos. Maybe with a 30 or more ET he would have been rubbing on the inside?
I would think these wheels are pretty common on the supers so someone must be running them with 195s? Or at least tried?
I guess I could get them to just mount two 195s to start and if they rub on the front I could put them on the back and get the fronts mounted with 185s but that limits my choices to the tires they have in both sizes or else I end up with mismatched tires on the front and back. I know 195s will fit on the back.

I have 195's all round on 6" rims with an ET of 18, they do not rub but stick out past the fenders by 17mm.

Am waiting on delivery of new wheels 5.5" with an ET 35, will be fitting 175's on the front and 195's on the rear.

I'm running 5.5" chrome, stock type wheels made by Mangels in Brazil with 195/65 on the back. I'm not sure what the ET is but there's plenty of inboard room for wider tires.
