What to do?
Nothing, it's fine. Except maybe the right fender.

Is this a crease(damage) or a style line? -About 1 1/2 in. out from fender-

It is so perfectly formed, it seems like it is supposed to be there. But the right side doesn't have the same look. Of course, the the fuel door being there may have something to do with it?
The next couple of pictures may or may not be related to my question. The left wheel sticks out from the fender further than the right side. The spacing between the tire and the fender is tighter on the left side than the right side. Somewhere, pre- me, the right fender was replaced. I have no idea how hard it was hit. I keep measuring it out and can't decide if that fender is different than the other, like off of a Super. ??.

First guess with paint on is that the quarters were patched. Edit: Can you see from the inside if there is a seam from a patch panel?

You need to post pictures of under the hood looking down at that front quarter panel, the apron area, etc.. If this beetle sustained a front hit that could of buckled that quarter, it should be very obvious under the hood or under the fender.

looks like collision damage to me, the wing (fender) if hit has pushed into the 1/4 causing the crease, a common issue..
