The ragtop seems to be missing the rear hold-down . . . probably the easiest piece to find new. Look here . . . http://www.wolfsburgwest.com/cart/DetailsList.cfm?ID=115875553
D/P engine swap . . . pros . . . more power! Fresh air heater!
To make it a bolt-in, you can swap the flywheel to a 6volt-200mm.
Keep it 6volt generator if you want or use an internally-regulated alternator to convert the car to a 12 volt system. _________________ Jesucristo es mi Seņor y Salvador! |

it looks like you are missing the short rails from the back corners
plus there should be (from memory, it's been a while) two canvas straps from between the front sliding section and the 2nd sliding section. they pull the second section forward when you close the roof.
the engine has a really late stale air fanshroud but to rear tin is for a later motor. you will need to block the holes or swap it out to one without holes, to stop hot air getting into the engine bay.
it looks like you don't have a breather on the oil filler thingy, but the aircleaner has a port (rhs near the top) for the breather tube. you will again want to swap bits of block off the hole.
it looks like you have a nice car there. enjoy, life is better with the roof back. |

If you want to have a little power, go with the dual port. You will need to grind out the transmission to fit the flywheel in but it will bolt up. |

That's a hell of a score you made there. I was watching that one too but don't have the room. It looks like your rear engine tin doesn't match the fan shroud. What type of heat exchangers are installed.fresh or stale air? It also needs an engine seal.I'd yank the engine 1st thing. Awesome score . |

The car is a later 1963. Didn't they convert to freshair mid year? Based on that if correct does it appear to be correct?
