Hi,

I aquired this beam a few years ago, but not sure what it is off, someone here in the UK said it could be off a barndoor. Any ideas much appreciated.

Cheers

Jim

The beam dates from December 1950. I would've expected to see a "20" prefix, not "2" if it were from a Barndoor.

Like ingenbremser says 56/57. It also looks nothing like a barndoor beam Wink

Yes, -2-227915 is January, 1957 according to the VIN/front & rear end charts on this site.

For reference, all(?) Barndoor beams start with -2- too.
My '54 and '55 Barndoors both have -2- beams.
