I just picked up this '54 RHD bus from a mate.

The plan is to just get it driving first. Not much needed to drive it.

Nice one John,
that looks like a real solid Standard. Would love to see the rest of her.

Glad john got it, and glad i have his 51 split beetle in my shed, smiles all round...

Its a very solid bus, came from a collector in Sydney. Was locked away in his shed for 20 years, i got it around 3 years ago after the guy in sydney got a better one. I have another same colour barny and with 3 kids, almost 4, no money or time, it was time to pass on to a mate. Solved a cash problem and i got a cool car.

John is always the easiest person to deal with when buying and selling cars. I look forward to watching what he does with it.

It was a fun weekend swapping cars...

Very cool for both you guys. Congrats. And I would love to see a close up of the safari hinges if they are OG. Are they straight or is there a slight bend at the top?
