Nice looking car, hook up with a club in Den or come join us in the springs (Pikes Peak VW Club) and you can usually find someone that is willing to come by and help. Great color btw. _________________ Ace

As for the engine size, assume that it's a stock 1600. There are ways to figure out the displacement without tearing it apart but regardless of what you find, it won't effect regular maintenance.
It appears that you currently have heater boxes installed but with the current exhaust, it may be challenging to install the fresh air tubes. Also, it appears that the fan shroud was designed to be used with a car with stock air-conditioning, that's why the left-side outlet exits to the side instead of the front like the one on the right.
The car looks clean, and if it runs well, that's a bonus. Consider replacing all the fuel lines, including the one under the tank, and above the trans. Check brake lines for cracks and replace if necessary. Although I'm not a fan of the carb and distributor set-up, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
If you are going to drive it often, I might put a set of bumpers on it. The first time some knucklehead in a parking lot bumps into it, you'll know why.
Other than that, enjoy it and have fun.
