Great stuff--
Now your really going to try and give your antique AC system, designed to run on R-12 a real work out---
This HFO-1234yf runs at 5 times the operating pressures as the 134A garbage alternative which is way over what your vehicle was designed to function at in the first place.
What a stupendous idea to test your limp, half worn out system on the roll.

No thanks. _________________ T.K. |

my system runs at 210 psi. what's legal in the 47? just run ammonia and be efficient. I cant run propane, or Freon, or peroxide, or ammonia. In a 30 yo vehicle its no surprise to replace everything new. especially in the highest pressurized system on board. the no spin zone must be in the Midwest. Well all be running on steam in ten anyway. |

Reading all this makes me glad I changed from my fixed wing windows to openable wing windows. I set the tension tight so they will stay in "forced air flow" mode.

You allow this off the wall posts to cause you to be happier with the Polish wing window AC treatment.
Not inspired, or just too lazy to get the AC working is another probable cause --sprinkle in a little cheap--happiness abounds with the wind blowing into your armpits on the roll.
What do ya'll do there Andy when ya stop?
Shake & Bake?
Good fixin's. _________________ T.K. |
