Been looking for a Dune Buggy for a while now. This one was local and the price was right so I towed it home. I have searched these white a bit and there isn't a lot of info on them luckily this one is mostly complete and correct. Plan is to get it running and driving then fix things as I go along. Motor is ready to go in. I have a set if 34 Dellorto's that I plan to add once it get them rebuilt other than that I think that's plenty of juice. Either going with appliance pacer wheels or Sprint stars. As far as interior I'm looking to locate a matching seat to the drivers side and then have them redone.

Nice find. I see it has a Corvette gas cap.
Instead of the silicone between the hood and body using the fender beading use on VW Bugs will work and looks nicer.
Now you have cool vehicle to visit the ladies at the prison. Also the back would be a place to carry all your baskets. _________________ Joseph

I had planned on using something similar to fender beading instead if the silicone. Wasn't sure if that was stock or not but it looks like ass. Sorry but I don't get the prison reference.. _________________ To his their own PBJ

With not seeing you here before, I looked at your profile and it says you are a volunteer. That is what I was going by.
Going by that I figure you where someone that like to have fun and enjoys life.
I like buggies and for the most part the people that drive them are very happy and like having fun.
I have friend in Colorado that his Dad and him built a GlitterBug back in 1968 and he still has it. It still his favorite of all the buggies he has. _________________ Joseph

Well I do like to volunteer however I am not a volunteer conjugal visitor at chino prison.. Been here a while mostly in the oval beetle and bus forums. Also the rants when they were good.
Anyway the glitter bug is my preferred dune buggy, I like the look of them and they are pretty unusual. _________________ To his their own PBJ
