Hello
could you help me to find the right reference and color to replace my old 65 ghia front door panels (it looks correct on picture but the other one is "dead"). It's a august 64 (model 65) bermuda blue.

On TMI web site, the one with the correct molding (no picture) seems to be available only in two tone:

The right color seems to be the "DK.BLUE OXEN #82" but not available in the list proposed.

Pictures to illustrate the 61/63 model and the 64 or 65 model are the same and moding don't correspond to mine.

thank you for your help

Dont think TMI has panels with the chrome moulding.
Make sure its what you want before ordering.

i'm not talking about the chrome moulding (sorry, i'm french) but about the 4 horizontal lines drawn on the panel.

Yes, I an sorry you are french Wink I just wanted to warn about lack of chrome trims. I dont think TMI has "correct" panels ^^^those are more correct for 68+, still no chrome molding Sad
Upholstery shops can do it more closely but can only do sewn seams not heat seams. Lenny at West Coast Classic makes a closer to correct panel...http://www.classicvws.com/ghia-1_interior.htm
He did mine...the first time...I had my upholstery shop redo them with his metal trim.

Their website is confusing but it looks like they are, as you said, the two-tone panels (with horizontal panel). I would have thought it would have been "classic panel".
Before sending your credit card # ask for a pic of the item so you are happy with your purchase and good luck.

The TMI ordering process is very confusing and painful. I had to get my local VW shop order my materials for me as he knew the pitfalls. You order X and could get Y in return.

Good luck.

These are the available types of door panels, the 10 series is a basic "universal" type pattern and the 19 series is a OEM type available in two tone or single tone colors.
