I was wondering is a sun roof to high top conversion possible? And if so how much modification is needed? And how would one go about doing it? |

You don't need a poll, you need info. A hi-top can be screwed to the top of a sunroof bus
easily enough, but if you plan to cut steel supports in order to open up the hole it rapidly becomes more difficult. _________________ 70 Sunroof Kombi

I think the most difficult part is going to be finding a hightop -- I don't think anyone's making them to fit a Bus anymore. |

Tristessa - show him your thread!
Cro_Wannabe92 you are going to need to travel either to San Antonio-Houston or maybe even Kansas to find a good used top if one can not be had local. Maybe up Albuquerque way. _________________

Hi-tops tend to be less rusty (they are treated like custom vans not daily drivers) cheaper and lower miles than pop tops or sun roof vans- be WAY better off just buying one- they pop up here about twice a month. _________________ some days I get up and just sit and think. Some days I just sit.
