Stan, you wouldn't happen to know the name of the guy with the bus on the right would you? We bumped into each other at a local car show a few weeks ago but I forgot to get his number _________________ '73 Transporter 1.7L Dual Carb

I'm thinking of heading down, trying to get the boys from maynard to join me.
Let me know if you want to caravan down. |

Caravan sounds cool to me _________________ 1964 Notchback

Hope you're still going- Weather is looking good for Sunday! Couple of us were kicking around the idea of going down to CT on Saturday maybe stay in the Mystic area. I am leaning more towards a Sunday AM ride down.
Google is sending me 495s > 290 > 395 > 95 but I don't mind coming to Natick or meeting in Auburn area or taking a more scenic route _________________ 1964 Notchback

I never actually counted but it looks from the pictures that we had about 25 VWs. What beautiful weather we had for the gathering couldn’t of asked for a better day!
Afterwards seven VWs cruised over to the Tri State Cruisers Car Show. It looked like the scene from Herbie Rides Again at the end of the movie when all the VWs came out to help Herbie out.
Thanks again to the folks at Frog Rock for keeping this awesome roadside attraction going!

Copied right from ctvwa.org.....
Sunday December 6th, 2015 – The CVA’s “Last Hurrah” Address: 401 Seaside Ave. Westbrook Ct. 06498. Weather permitting we are going to gather again at Westbrook’s Town Beach from noon to 3pm. Yup, last year a few of us hearty souls braved it. Are you crazy enough to go to a Volkswagen event in December?
Some shots from last year.

It's just a week away and so far the weather is looking decent. Come and be part of the largest VW show in New England in December! We had 6 last year, help us double the size! |
