How to keep oil from being drawn into the plenum? The plastic plug the covers the PCV access hole is long gone. Stuffing that chamber with a piece of choreboy keep enough of the mist from being drawn up through the hose?

Ah.....yes...missing the "D" plug makes for oil in the plenum....but no matter what....you have to plug that hole under the PCV valve.

The way the oil baffel is designed....is the oil vapor MUST make 90° or 180° turns at as m7ch speed as possible to lose as much oil as possible.

This is actually how the oil bath air cleaner works to shed both oil and dirt in the airstream. As the air/oil mixture gets sucked across/around edges of surfaces it tends to shear solids out of it.
The chore boy pad helps greatly to make this an even better oil bath system because it causes the airflow to, change directions many times....very similar to the material in the oil bath air cleaner.
Even without the chore boy pad.....the oil baffel was pretty good. But without plugging that hole its a straight shot upward to the 12mm hose.

Any plastic or silicone grommet plug with a trimmed edge will do the job to plug the hole. Ray
