Primer color

What color primer would be shot for VW's L20E Amber Orange? I know primer tends to affect the final color a little.

I like red oxide primer mostly because it shows the dents/flaws you still have to fix.

I would go with Mike on that. I like to use a colour that is as close to final top coat. If you get a stone chip it will be less noticeable. You could also use any colour of primer & primer surfacer you like & after all the sanding & you are ready for paint spray on a coat of sealer.
